Raven - Aunts freeroam + Eleanor bonus scenes - Public.
Heya,
Finally, it's here...
It's really late, I know. As I said previously, I made a lot of tests to see if I could reduce the rendering time and all, especially for animations.
I also had to deal with the fact, that, I made a lot of "new" animations, that I never made before, and I had to remake them quite often.
I have gained a lot of experience at this level. It's cool.
Alright, now, let's talk seriously.
As you can see, the release is already public, because I need your honest opinion.
I would like to ask to you all a question:
Do you think the freeroam is useless?
When I started working on the freeroam, I had two goals in mind:
First, I wanted to show the characters' lives outside of the story (how they live, what they do, etc...)
Second, I wanted players who had completed one of the girls' routes to be able to enjoy bonus sex scenes with that girl (a bit like a continuation of the route in question).
But here's the catch: it's entirely possible to do this without the freeroam.
For this update, I made the freeroam for Eleanor and Roxanne's house, as well as the bonus scenes for Eleanor. I added them to the game.
Then I made the animations for Eleanor's scenes and added them to the game.
Finally, I tested the whole thing.
And I was like: "What the fuck is that?"
There are two things that bug me:
First: Eleanor and Roxanne work during weekdays, and the freeroam is based on hours. So, most of the time, the house is just empty. And there are only two girls, so even on weekends, it feels empty. I used the hours skip button a lot...
Second: As the freeroam is accessible even before completing Segment 4, there can be no mention of the MC's arcane in it.
And then, what I played was just a normal guy looking for Eleanor in an almost empty house, to help her do things she could have easily done on her own, and the reward was sex. And the events are really short.
Where is the Raven? The Arcanists? The black steam, the summons, the skeletons, the epic music? Where is the violence?!
Eleanor was not the private eye and the 5.5 level Arcanist, she was just... Eleanor, the woman who loves giving rewards.
I wanted to make a daily life freeroam, and I succeeded perfectly. 10/10, I am the king of daily life. But since the story doesn't take place in the freeroam, the whole thing feels off.
And for all that, I find the freeroam incredibly... useless.
I can remove the whole freeroam and turn the game into a full visual novel, and divide the arcs into chapters.
Ironically, there would be more sex scenes if I make something like:
Chapter 1 – the family + sex scenes
Chapter 2 – the classmates + sex scenes + family sex scenes
Chapter 3 – the teachers + sex scenes + family sex scenes + classmates sex scenes
Etc...

Last segment of the first part, the shortest (150 renders), mostly dialogues, but the last scene (MC in the forest) will give you the general idea where the game is going, and also the main forces of the MC.

About NTR:
NO NTR in the game. I hate that. The MC will be the only man for the girls.
About lesbian content:
Unavoidable. I know some people dislike lesbian content, so you are warned.
But when there will be lesbian content, the main character will explicitly gives his blessing, and it will be only Intra-Harem.
No lesbian actions behind the main character's back until he says otherwise (and he will later in the game) so no Lesbian-NTR.
Not much in the first arc, but there will be a lot of this content in the second and third arc (lesbian orgies)
About the girls:
No rape, no torture, no mind break.
No slut (maybe later with the MC), no camgirl, no prostitute, no I-already-had-threesome-gnagna, no I-have-sex-photos-with-my-ex-on-my-computer/phone and no lets-talk-about-my-ex-while-we-are-having-sex.
But the porn logic said they'll become all bi. Weird.
I like the idea of the girls having some lewd photos in their computers but I'll be carefull about that.
English is not my first language, but I'll do my best.
